Geeks, doctors, lawyers and such: A little tech, a lot of ego, a major security breach
As long as I’ve been playing with computers for a living, I’ve noticed that I’m never far from the company of “doctors and lawyers and such” as Willie sings. Sometimes I think their proclivity for tinkering with technology stems from working with law as a kind of deeply abstracted software, or putting their hands in visceral wetware that isn’t abstracted enough. Whatever the cause, they run with new technologies in innovative and often surprising ways.
